Project Shield Conversion
Sterling was selected by ABN AMRO in the summer of 2003
to work with their Chicago based design firm, Design Design,
to develop a complete family of through the wall ATM surrounds
and enclosures needed as part of an aggressive brand conversion
for Standard Federal and LaSalle Bank. In less than sixty
days, twelve different surrounds, enclosures and toppers
were developed to meet the banks' needs for brand enhancement
and functionality. Sterling/Wingenback started to ship products
required for the brand conversion within 30 days of design
approval, making this one of the fastest brand conversions
in US banking history.
The speed of the conversion made flexibility and team play
a critical attribute for success. Sterling/Wingenback has
shown unmatched resilience in adapting to changes and responding
to unanticipated needs. The results for ABN AMRO have been
the development of a new and exciting brand for their ATM
network that is tailored to their needs.
