Opportunity

Banco Popular is one of the fastest growing banks in the U.S. focused on meeting the needs of an expanding Hispanic population. They have grown through acquisitions in target states such as Florida, NY/NJ, Texas, IL and California.  These acquisitions resulted in an ATM network with no branding consistency.

Banco selected Sterling to develop a family of ATM surrounds that would enhance the Banco Popular brand, reflect the bank’s heritage and provide a consistent look and feel to their ATM network.

Results

Sterling and Wingenback worked together to execute every stage of the implementation from site surveys to project management and installation and construction. The conversion was implemented in all states concurrently.

The team at Wingenback did a great job with project management.  The individuals were dedicated, enthusiastic, professional and most importantly, took "ownership" of project issues.  Their response was expedited and always proactive in creating contingency plans to address issues. 

We are very appreciative and impressed with the "turnkey" project management demonstrated by Wingenback during this engagement.  In particular, both Terry Carlisle-Fink and Wendy Rush did an excellent job.  They are a credit to your organization.  Mark Harling also provided creative innovative solutions as well.
